HEP Empowerment Garden & Mobile Market

Welcome to the Homeless Empowerment Program‘s Empowerment Garden, consisting of an inground organic garden, vertical garden, and Mobile Market!

The gardens help to provide fresh nutrient dense produce to the HEP Kitchen and Dining Hall for our residents to enjoy in our salad bar and warm meals served daily. In addition to offering each seasons brightest and most nutritious produce, HEP’s new Mobile Market accepts SNAP benefits/food stamps, helping to break the barrier to accessible healthy food…on the go.

As an added benefit, both garden’s also serve as a wonderful therapeutic outlet for our Veterans residents and community volunteers.

Learn more about HEP’s inground and vertical gardens by calling 727-442-9041 x 166  or e-mailing us at UrbanEmpowermentGarden@HEPempowers.org.

HEP’s Mobile Market is now serving the needs of low-income individuals in the community.
