HEP has a myriad of fundraising and special events throughout the year, like HEP’s Renewing Hope on the Runway Fashion Show (benefiting families) and the Annual Otis Green & Bruce Fyfe Memorial Golf Tournament (benefiting Veterans). Event sponsors enjoy advertising/promotional opportunities, philanthropic influence, access to prospective clients and partnerships, and most importantly, the ability to change the lives of those less fortunate in your community.

Become a Sustaining Supporter (Recurring)
While a monthly gift of $10 or $20 may not seem like much, it adds up for organizations like HEP. When hundreds of people sign up to do the same… the impact can be incredible! Join HEP as a Sustaining Supporter today, and contribute as much (or as little) as you like on a regular basis. This is a great way for college students and young professionals to begin their own personal philanthropic journey! Donations made through this method can be made on a monthly, bi-monthly or even quarterly basis. As an added bonus, Sustaining Supporters who contribute a total of $1,000 or more annually are automatically included in HEP’s exclusive Green Society!

Join Women Who Care Giving Society (WWC)
Inspired by the proverb “great oaks from little acorns grow,” women in our community have joined together in the spirit of philanthropy to form HEP’s Women Who Care giving society. This initiative allows like-minded women to come together to increase women’s involvement in HEP and pool their charitable gifts to support the needs of low-income and homeless youth and families in our community. Your gift of $500 or more in support of HEP’s youth and family services enrolls you as a member of Women Who Care. Each year, HEP hosts an inspiring luncheon for Women Who Care members, to celebrate the many accomplishments of this unique giving society.

Join the HEP Green Society
More than 45 years ago, the late Rev. Otis C. “Preacher” Green and his wife Barb, began offering shelter to men, women, and children. (Read more about HEP’s history). Preacher and Barb soon expanded their outreach efforts to include food, clothing, and support services, transforming HEP into the comprehensive social service agency it is today. In honor of the hard work and dedication Preacher and Barb have committed to homeless individuals, families and veterans, we have named HEP’s Green Society after our founders.
Recognizing donors who contribute $1,000 or more on an annual basis, membership in The Green Society demonstrates your support vital HEP services. It also helps fund programs that deal with underlying issues of homelessness and empower our residents to reclaim their lives. Your membership in this special society not only comes with a warm-fuzzy feeling, it also allows you access to exclusive invitations to HEP events, Grand Openings, and our Annual Green Society Reception!

Donate to the Bruce E. Fyfe Endowment Fund
In memory of our late Chairman Emeritus, Bruce Fyfe, HEP has established the Bruce E. Fyfe Endowment Fund. Thanks to the generosity of longtime donors and HEP Board Members, Kate Tiedemann & Ellen Cotton and Phil & Carol Beauchamp, any donations made to the fund will be matched up to $250,000. To continue the lasting devotion to serving Veterans set forth by our late Chairman Emeritus, HEP renamed the Veterans Campus as the Bruce E. Fyfe Memorial Veterans Community in 2017.
